A causa di un bug la scheda audio non viene correttamente riconosciuta e pertanto riproducendo file multimediali non sarà presente l'audio.

Ubuntu

Dalle impostazioni audio del centro di controllo, alla voce Dispositivo in uscita verrà visualizzato:

Lubuntu

Al contrario su Lubuntu, pur presentandosi il medesimo problema, tramite PulseAudio Volume Control è possibile selezionare le voci analog stereo duplex oppure analog stereo output per riattivare l'audio.

Soluzione

Vengono ripercorsi i passaggi di questo post dell'utente telperion, che ipotizzando il mancato riconoscimento della scheda audio da parte di udev, ne disattiva il suo riconoscimento automatico.

  1. Aprire con i privilegi di amministrazione e con un editor di testo il file /etc/pulse/default.pa.

  2. Individuare le seguenti stringhe di testo:

    ### Automatically load driver modules depending on the hardware available
.ifexists module-udev-detect.so
load-module module-udev-detect
.else
### Alternatively use the static hardware detection module (for systems that
### lack udev support)
load-module module-detect
