Introduzione

Questa guida è rivolta a quegli utenti che iniziano ad utilizzare Ubuntu che già hanno una certa familiarità con gli altri sistemi operativi più diffusi. Di seguito saranno infatti descritte alcune delle differenze più evidenti nell'uso comune fra Ubuntu ed altri sistemi come Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, Android ed altre distribuzioni GNU/Linux.

Questa guida si limita a descrivere le principali differenze relative al sistema. Molto spesso, invece, il funzionamento dei singoli programmi (ad esempio Firefox, VLC, LibreOffice ecc.) è identito a prescindere dal sistema operativo utilizzato.
