Introduzione

Questa pagina fornisce una panoramica delle guide disponibili per le schede video VIA.

Driver per schede video

Il driver [:/OpenChrome:OpenChrome], presente già di default in Ubuntu, riesce a fornire accelerazione 3d a molte schede grafiche VIA ma non ha supporto per l'estensione AiGLX, quindi con questo driver non è possibile abilitare gli effetti desktop 3D.

Le recenti schede grafiche della VIA, grazie ai nuovi driver, supportano l'estensione AiGLX.

Seguire la guida per l'installazione dei driver a seconda della versione di Ubuntu utilizzata e fare attenzione ai chip supportati dai driver.
