Per verificare il corretto rilevamento dell'hardware del portatile, digitare in un terminale il seguente comando:

Il funzionamneto della scheda wireless integrata RealTek RTL8821AE non è stato testato con Ubuntu 20.04, poiché sostituito nel notebook usato come test. Si riporta che con la precedente versione di Ubuntu 16.04 sono stati riscontrati frequenti malfunzionamenti, fra cui:

• segnale reti wifi percepito come debole o assente;
• Interruzione improvvisa della connessione wifi;
• Impossibilità di connettersi al wifi dopo la sospensione e/o l'ibernazione;
• Scomparsa dell'icona del wifi nel pannello superiore (con relativa impossibilità di visualizzare l'elenco delle reti disponibili).
