-Qualcuno saprebbe aiutarmi a far funzionare sulla "Ubuntu Hoary 5.04" il modem ADSL "Speedweb IPM Datacom"?! Ho provato con dei driver ECIADSL, che a quanto dicono nei forum, dovrebbero essere quelli corretti per il mio modem.
Il problema è che al momento della SINCRONIZZAZIONE mi si pianta, non va avanti... insomma non so cosa fare... qualche idea?!

-P.S. ho provato anche gli utlimi driver, scaricati da "flashtux", e anche col pacchetto .deb, ma niente... si pianta alla sincro. 
P.P.S. Si può richiedere alla telecom che ci cambi il modem con uno ethernet, per l'utilizzo con Linux?!

-Per far funzionare quei driver devi solo individuare il synch.bin giusto. Per l'italia (con aliceadsl ed altri operatori) è il synch04.bin del pacchetto aggiuntivo che puoi scaricare dal sito di eciadsl. Se hai altri problemi, nella cartella di eciadsl trovi degli script diagnostici molto utili: eciadsl-doctor, eciadsl-probe-device, eciadsl-probe-synch.
