Subject: IPM Datacom USB ADSL modem

Qualcuno saprebbe aiutarmi a far funzionare sulla "Ubuntu Hoary 5.04" il modem ADSL "Speedweb IPM Datacom"?! Ho provato con dei driver ECIADSL, che a quanto dicono nei forum, dovrebbero essere quelli corretti per il mio modem.
Il problema è che al momento della SINCRONIZZAZIONE mi si pianta, non va avanti... insomma non so cosa fare... qualche idea?!

P.S. ho provato anche gli utlimi driver, scaricati da "flashtux", e anche col pacchetto .deb, ma niente... si pianta alla sincro. 
P.P.S. Si può richiedere alla telecom che ci cambi il modem con uno ethernet, per l'utilizzo con Linux?!
