Wacom Graphire 4 (xl) classic

Introduzione

In questa guida sono contenute delle istruzioni utili all'installazione e alla configurazione della tavoletta grafica Wacom Graphire 4x1 Classic. Le seguenti istruzioni sono state testate e vverificate su Ubuntu 7.04 «Feisty Fawn» e successive.

Installazione

[:InstallareProgrammi:Installare] il pacchetto xserver-xorg-input-wacom.

Abilitare tasti supplementari

Per abilitare i tasti supplementare e la rotellina è necessario [:InstallareProgrammi:installare] il pacchetto wacom-tools.

Configurazione

Configurare il server grafico

Per configurare la tavoletta è necessario aprire il file /etc/X11/xorg.conf con un [:EditorDiTesto:editor di testo] con i [:Sudo:privilegi di amministrazione] e aggiungere le seguenti righe:

== Configurare i tasti==

Per configurare i tasti e modificare anche la configurazione della rotellina aprire una finestra di terminale e digitare i seguenti comandi:

xsetwacom set pad Button1 "core key a"
xsetwacom set pad Button2 "core key b"

I precedenti comandi associano al pulsante 1 la stessa funzione del tasto «a» e al pulsante 2 la stessa funzione funzione del tasto «b».

Inoltr è possibile associrare i pulsanti a delle combinazioni di più pulsanti, ad esempio, se si volesse associare al pulsante 1 la stessa funzione della combinazione Ctrl+Alt+F2, è utile digitare il seguente comando:

xsetwacom set pad Button1 "core key ctrl alt F2"

Configurare la rotellina

Potete lasciare invariata la funzionalità della rotellina ma con questa modifica può diventare in breve tempo uno strumento Zoom In e Zoom Out in Gimp per far questo basta associare lo scorrere verso l'alto con il tasto + e lo scorrere in basso con il tasto -
