Tramite lo strumento Driver aggiuntivi sono disponibili:

  • NVIDIA driver metapackage da nvidia-driver-390 (proprietario, testato): si osservano una migliore gestione del consumo energetico e un minore surriscaldamento del notebook; con le configurazioni standard di server grafico/window manager/compositor si rilevano alcuni casi di screen tearing; all'occorrenza, è possibile disabilitare la GPU e utilizzare l'integrata Intel tramite l'apposito strumento NVIDIA X Server Settings, permettendo una maggiore durata della batteria e prevenendo un eccessivo surriscaldamento, evitando anche i suddetti casi di screen tearing;

  • NVIDIA binary driver - version 340.107 da nvidia-340 (proprietario): non testato;

  • server X di X.Org-driver per display Nouveau da xserver-xorg-video-nouveau (open source): si osservano un generale surriscaldamento del notebook e una durata inferiore della batteria; con le configurazioni standard di server grafico/window manager/compositor le finestre di alcuni programmi vengono aperte al di fuori dell'area della Scrivania;
