 Benchè GNU/Linux nasca come clone libero di Unix, uno dei sistemi operativi più seriosi in circolazione, può essere usato anche per passare piacevoli ore in attività ludiche: Ubuntu mette a disposizione dell'utente una ampia scelta di giochi, dai sempreverdi solitari fino a più moderni giochi orientati alla rete.
