A partire da Ubuntu 7.04, la versione per PowerPC non è disponibile su tutti i mirror di Ubuntu. Essa è stata spostata nella sezione dei port del mirror principale.

Di seguito i collegamenti per scaricare le immagini iso fino all'ultimo rilascio (Ubuntu 11.10 «Oneiric Ocelot») .

Sulle nuove PS3 Slim non è possibile installare Ubuntu.

Sulle PS3 Fat non aggiornare al firmware 3.21, perché non permetterà l'installazione di altri sistemi operativi.

Le iso delle versioni 10.04 e 10.10 hanno dimensione superiore a 700 MiB, occorre masterizzale su cd da 800 MiB.

Per ottenere le iso di Ubuntu 11.10 e 11.04 fare riferimento al paragrafo Ubuntu Netboot.

Per ottenere le iso di Xubuntu 12.04 fare riferimento al paragrafo Ubuntu Netboot.
